Battlefield 2142 will always have a place in my heart as one of my favorite first person shooters. One day I came across a fan art drawing of one of the characters from the game done in an Anime/Chibi style, and I fell in love with the concept. A short time later I decided to create my own take on the idea in 3d, and this character is the result. The character model is 4523 triangles with the weapon and hover chart coming it at 376 and 1442 tri respectively. They all share a single 1024x1024 diffuse map. The weapon is based after an anti tank weapon in the game, while the hover bike is of my own design made to fit game universe. The textures were mostly hand painted with some photo manipulation. Character rigged using 3ds Max biped system. |
